Student Loans

The Auxiliary to the Virginia Pharmacists Association offers a $3,000 loan to a senior student pharmacist. This interest-free loan is given to a student pharmacist in need of financial assistance. Payment on the loan does not start until the student has been out of school for one year.  Only one student per year per school of pharmacy is eligible.

Student pharmacists interested in applying for the Auxiliary Student Loan must submit the following for consideration:

    • Letter of Need written by the applicant
    • One letter of reference from an advisor or Dean of the School/College

Applicants should submit their information to:

Auxiliary to the Virginia Pharmacists Association
2530 Professional Road
North Chesterfield, VA 23235

To allow the Auxiliary sufficient time to review all applications, we ask that submissions be received by August 15th of each calendar year.  The Auxiliary reviews applications in September of each year.

The Auxiliary Student Loan Program functions as part of the Virginia Pharmacists Association Research and Education Foundation (VPhA Foundation), a 501(C)3 tax-exempt organization.
