Registration for the VPhA 2019 Legislative Day has now ended. We will be deploying teams to legislators offices to do a mobile health fair and legislative visits simultaneously.

Schedule

• 7:00 a.m. -7:30 a.m. – Arrive at SunTrust building (Room name to be announced) for sign in, breakfast, and an overview of VPhA’s legislative initiatives. You will also receive your team assignments.
  7:30 a.m. -8:00 a.m. – Depart to General Assembly building (Pocahontas Building) for the roving health fair, advocacy teams, other assignments.
• 11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Wrap up team events. Those attendee’s going to the House/ Senate Gallery will head to the Capitol. All other attendees will return to the SunTrust Building.
• 12:00 p.m.  – 1:30 p.m. – Joint lunch at the SunTrust Building with Virginia Society of Health Systems Pharmacists

Room Block

We’ve secured at Room Block at the Hampton Inn ($149). The hotel is located at 700 East Main Street – Suite A, Richmond, Virginia 23219. Only 2 blocks away from the event. Reserve your room or calling the hotel at 804-643-5400 and ask for the VA Pharmacists Association room block. Parking is $15. The room block will end on January 21^st so BOOK NOW.

Parking

We recommend parking in the Bank of America parking garage at 1111 E Main St; you can enter from Main St. It is $15 for the day and $3/hour. It is close to the Sun Trust building and Pocahontas building.

The SunTrust Building also has parking. It is $3/hour, or a maximum of $18.00 per day.
