Join us on July 11th from 1-2 PM when the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ) joins us for a one-hour presentation is to provide pharmacists with important information associated with EPA’s Hazardous Waste Pharmaceuticals Rule that DEQ adopted in 2019. The purpose of this rule is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of regulating “hazardous” pharmaceutical wastes generated by the healthcare sector. Examples of the healthcare sector include: hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians’ offices, pharmacies, online pharmacies, retail pharmacies, etc. ore information
