Summary:

This presentation piggy backs our previous comprehensive training program related to the prescribing and dispensing of HIV prevention medications for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP). Today’s presentation will review the treatment for common Sexually Transmitted Infections, clinical perils, and potential role for pharmacists.

  2. Discuss the treatments for STIs
  3. Define the pharmacist’s role in STI testing, management, and education
