Objectives:
- Assess the term “hemp” according to the 2018 Farm Bill
- Differentiate hemp from medical marijuana
- Evaluate the legality of CBD/THC-A oils in Virginia
- Summarize the authority of pharmaceutical processors in the state of Virginia
The Endocannabinoid System and the Pharmacokinetics of Cannabinoids

Objectives:
- Differentiate THC from CBD
- Differentiate endogenous, exogenous, and synthetic cannabinoids
- Examine the endocannabinoid system
- Explain how cannabinoids are thought to work in the body
Hemp Oil-based CBD

- Summarize the uses and possible side effects of available CBD products in order to effectively counsel patients
- Evaluate the usage of dosage forms of available CBD formulations.
- Compare the characteristics of reputable CBD brands
- Determine possible drug therapy interactions with use of CBD
