VPhA Email – Safe Sender Resource and Guide

Not getting your VPhA emails?

Find the name of your Email Server to view a step-by-step on how to add VPhA as a safe sender to your email account.

Add the VPhA email: info@virginiapharmacists.org OR Add the VPhA Domain: virginiapharmacists.org

Gmail

To ensure that you receive emails from VPhA in your inbox, add our email address to your contact list.

If one of our emails has been moved to the spam folder, you can mark it “Not Spam” to whitelist it:

  1. In Gmail, navigate to the spam folder.
  2. Search for emails containing the domain you wish to whitelist (EX. virginiapharmacists.org).
  3. Select all the emails shown.
  4. Click Not Spam at the top.
OR

Create a filter:

  1. Click the gear (sprocket)  icon in the top-right corner, and then See All Settings
  2. Click on Filters and Blocked Addresses and then Create a new filter
  3. Enter the domain: virginiapharmacists.org into the From field to whitelist our emails
  4. Click Create a filter, another box will pop up titled “When a message arrives that matches this search”
  5. Select the options “Never send it to spam” and “Also apply filter to matching conversations.”
  6. To finalize the filter, Click Create Filter one last time
  7. Now you’ve added VPhA emails as a “safe sender” in Gmail

Outlook

  • For 2003, 2007 and Express
    1. Click Actions from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
    2. Click Junk E-mail > Junk E-mail Options…
    3. Click the Safe Sender tab.
    4. Click Add.
    5. Type in info@virginiapharmacists.org to add to your safe sender list.
    6. Click OK.
  • For 2010
    1. In Outlook, go to the Home tab.
    2. Click the Junk button.
    3. Choose “Junk E-Mail Options” from the drop-down list.
    4. Go to the Safe Senders tab.
    5. Type in either info@virginiapharmacists.org or virginiapharmacists.org.
    6. Click OK
  • For 2013
    1. In Outlook, go to the Home tab.
    2. Click Junk > Junk Email Options.
    3. Click the Safe Senders Tab
    4. Click Add.
    5. In the Add address or domain box, type in info@virginiapharmacists.org OR virginiapharmacists.org to whitelist.
    6. Click OK and close the window.
  • Express
    1. In Outlook, go to the Tools menu.
    2. Click “Address Book“.
    3. Click New > New Contact from the drop-down menu.
    4. Type in info@virginiapharmacists.org and include any details you want.
    5. Click OK.

Yahoo

In Yahoo Mail, your Contacts list is your whitelist. To add the From Address to your Yahoo Contacts:
  1. Open your Yahoo mailbox.
  2. Click the address book icon under the Yahoo! Mail logo. When you roll your mouse over it, it will say Contacts.
  3. Click “New Contact“.
  4. Fill in the fields of your Contact. (Virginia Pharmacy Association, info@virginiapharmacists.org)
  5. Click Save and mail from this sender should now be delivered to your Inbox.

MSN

  1. Select Settings: Email | Junk e-mail (bottom left, just above Calendar).
  2. From the E-mail settings screen, select Junk E-mail Guard.
  3. Select Safe List.
  4. You can either enter enter info@virginiapharmacists.org OR virginiapharmacists.org.
  5. Select Add.

Verizon

  1. Open your Inbox.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Block Senders.
  4. Locate the “Safe List”.
  5. Enter virginiapharmacists.org.
  6. Click OK.

Xfinity (comcast)

  1. Sign in to Xfinity Email using your Xfinity ID and password.
  2. Click on the gear icon on the top-right corner.
  3. Click Email Settings.
  4. On the left menu, under Mail, choose Advanced Settings.
  5. On the Advanced Settings page, check the box next to Use email safe list.
  6. Click Add an email address.
    The Advanced Settings page for Mail is displayed with a blue Add an email address button.
  7. Enter an enter the info@virginiapharmacists.org, and click Add.
  8. To enable and disable the email safe list, click Use email safe list.
    • If the checkbox is checked, the Email Safe List is enabled.
  9. When finished, close the page.
