Public Health Emergency Preparedness 102 for Pharmacy Professionals

1.0 Hour of CE for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians

The Virginia Department of Health in partnership with the Virginia Pharmacist Association has collaborated to develop the continuing education for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness 102 for Pharmacy Professionals.

Coordination between state health departments and pharmacies is essential to expanding public access to pharmaceutical countermeasures during a public health incident or event. Pharmacists and pharmacy personnel play key roles in taking care of the commonwealth and citizens would turn to their familiar, trusted pharmacy setting for pharmaceutical countermeasures during a public health incident or event.

This 1 hour continuing education is FREE for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians (VPhA members and non-members).

This publication is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Pharmacists Association.
