Overview
The program will provide an update on recent changes to immunizations including the impact on the delivery of pharmacy-based immunization services. Participants will apply Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) immunization schedules and recommendations to practice. There will be a discussion of the impact of COVID-19 on immunization uptake in the United States including a review of COVID-19 vaccines and clinical considerations. Finally, participants will learn about communication techniques to address vaccine hesitancy.
