New Drug Update – Home Study

Overview

This presentation will highlight the new drugs approved in 2022 by the FDA that will be prescribed in general clinical practice. Aspects that will be reviewed for each new drug include: indications, efficacy, pharmacokinetics, safety, dosing, cost, and comparison vs. existing drugs. The material learned will be reinforced by clinically applicable cases.

  • Identify the new drugs approved by the FDA that are most clinically relevant to general practice
  • Discuss relevant indications, efficacy, pharmacokinetics, safety, and dosing of the new drugs
  • Compare and contrast the new drugs with existing drugs on the market
